Why can't I see my photo?
If your photos aren't visible yet, it's due to one of these reasons:
You uploaded the photos and we have not yet approved them.
This process usually takes 24 hours but can vary based on volume. We appreciate your patience. If there is a problem with your pictures you will hear from us via e-mail.
There was a problem with the photos you uploaded.
If the photos you uploaded were too big (maximum file size 100KB) or unusable for some other reason, we will contact you via e-mail.
You mailed your photos for ShaadiKaroge to scan and post.
We have many users who physically mail photos in for scanning. This can take extra time. You may want to consider taking your photos to a Kinko's or cyber cafe and having them scan and e-mail your photos.
Kinko's, as you probably know, is a photocopier store. They also have photo scanners, and the staff is usually really nice. Just take your favorite picture of yourself down to the closest one, and tell them that you need it to be scanned.
Tell them that the final result should be a JPEG file that is about 400 pixels wide, and a maximum size of 2MB. Then, you can e-mail the file to us as an attachment; or if you log on to your ShaadiKaroge account from a computer at Kinko's, one of the staff members could help you upload the photo yourself from your My Shaadi -> Upload Photo page.
To upload photos yourself, please follow the steps below:
Log into your account at www.ShaadiKaroge.com
Click on the “My Shaadi” tab
Click on the “Upload Photo” link
On the Manage My Photo page, you will see a "Browse" button. Click this, and select the photo file you want to upload.
Then click "Submit" button in the bottom and the photo should appear.
